AI & Agentic AI
Strategy

We help executives decide where AI is worth using, put the right controls around it, and get from pilot to production, in federal agencies and commercial companies.

When clients call us

Most AI engagements start when someone outside the technology team asks for a plan. It might be a board, a regulator, a customer, or a competitor that shipped something first. Often the organization already has a few pilots and no clear way to choose between them. We help sort that out.

Agentic AI, meaning systems that carry out multi-step tasks and make decisions along the way instead of following a fixed script, raises the stakes. These systems need clear limits on what they may do, a person who reviews the risky steps, and a record of what happened. We design for that from the start, and we have done it in federal and commercial settings.

What the work includes

Finding the use cases worth doing

We list the places AI could help, then rank them by expected value, how hard they are to build with your data and systems, and what could go wrong. You get a short list with the reasoning behind it, plus the ideas we recommend setting aside and why.

Designing the architecture

For the use cases you choose, we lay out how the pieces fit together: the data sources, the models, how tasks are orchestrated, and where a person stays in the loop. We also help you decide what to buy, what to build, and which vendors to evaluate.

Setting up governance

We write down who approves what, how outputs are tested before and after release, and how problems get reported. For federal work this includes alignment with agency AI governance expectations and security authorization requirements. For commercial clients it usually means preparing for questions from customers, auditors, and investors.

Planning the first 90 days

We turn the short list into a pilot plan with a defined scope, success measures, and a decision point at the end. If the pilot works, we help plan how to scale it. If it does not, you find out early and cheaply.

Where we have done this

  • 60% less drafting time. Built a GenAI tool, using retrieval-augmented generation, that produces first drafts of proposal responses, written to each client’s requirements.
  • 90%+ compliance and 45% shorter submissions. Led an agentic AI platform for regulatory workflows that combines real-time data with the rules each submission has to meet.
  • 95% satisfaction across 2M+ yearly users. Led AI adoption strategy for a federal agency’s public digital services, including vendor evaluation and governance frameworks.
  • 2025 Government Innovation Award for Agentic AI. Recognized by GovTech Connects ACCELERATE.
  • Now in flight. Our team is leading a major AI launch for a federal client, from requirements and risk evaluation through governance approval. Details to follow.
